Residential Team LeaderMacomb, IL
Under the direction of the Residential Coordinator assist in the day to day operations of the residences that provide supervised and supported living opportunities for persons with disabilities; duties will include assisting with the orientations and training of new residential staff; assisting with consumer community provider appointments; assisting with menu planning and grocery shopping; assisting with the regular monitoring and reconciliation of link cards and consumer in-house funds; Additionally, help to ensure quality skill development/training and rehabilitation opportunities for consumers residing in Bridgeway residences.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Must be 21 years of age or older. Prefer minimum of two years documented experience working with persons with disabilities; must have one or more years of human service experience. Must at a minimum, meet the DMH credentialing requirements of a Rehabilitation Service Associate (RSA).
Ability to understand the emotional and social needs of persons with intellectual disability/mental illness; ability to understand the concepts of normalization and individualization; ability to interact effectively with adults with intellectual disability/mental illness; good planning and organizational skills; good interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, proof of insurance, and good driving record. Must obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification after hired; must attend Blood Borne Pathogen and OIG training after hired and annually thereafter. Must attend Blood Borne Pathogen and OIG, within first 10 working days of hire and annually thereafter; must obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid training after hired. Must attend corporate compliance and security rule training. If licensed, required to maintain license requirements.
$10.00 – 12.00 per hr
