Under the direction of the Community Employment Services Director/Coordinator, works collaboratively with consumers to meet their vocational training and employment needs. Provides on-site job training and support services, service plan implementation, advocacy, linkage and transportation as needed for consumers. Ensures that quality standards and measures established at each work site are met. Coordinates service provision with local Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) personnel. Follows direction from the employer related to job activities, ensuring that all work performed as a result of training opportunities is completed accurately and within time line expectations.
Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED with related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must at a minimum meet the DMH credentialing requirements of a Rehabilitative Services Associate (RSA).
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, have good social and assessment skills, work independently, interact professionally within the public domain, and have the commitment to work with persons with disabilities. Willingness to work flexible hours and basic computer navigation and word processing skills essential.
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance and be insurable. Must obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification after hired; must attend Bridgeway's driver training; must attend Blood Borne Pathogen, OIG, Corporate Compliance and Security training and annually thereafter.
$9.00 - $10.80 / hour
